Stop buying the unnecessary.
"Do not store up for yourselves treasures on earth where moth and rust destroy, and where thieves break in and steal." (Matthew 6:19)
Donate or sell half your stuff.
"Do not worry about your life, what you will eat; or about your body, what you will wear. Life is more than food and the body more than clothes." (Luke 12:22-23)
Learn contentedness.
"But godliness with contentment is great gain. For we brought nothing into the world, and we can take nothing out of it. But if we have food and clothing, we will be content with that." (1 Timothy 6:6-8)
Reduce half again.
"A man's life does not consist in the abundance of his possessions." (Luke 12:15)
List 4 essentials in your life, do these first.
"Love Yahweh your Elohim (God) with all your heart and with all your soul and with all your mind and with all your strength" and "love your neighbor as yourself. There is no commandment greater than these." (Mark 12:30-31)
Stop doing the non-essential, clear distractions.
"But Martha was distracted by all the preparations that had to be made. 'Martha, Martha,' Yahshua (Jesus) answered, 'you are worried and upset about many things, but only one thing is needed.'" (Luke 10:40-41)
Learn to love having less in order to give more.
"He who is kind to the poor lends to Yahweh, and He will reward him for what he has done." (Proverbs 19:17)
